  2. You are allowed to set boundaries: Boundaries are good for you, but also for the other person. Learn to set boundaries at the start of relations, so everyone knows what they can expect.
  3. You are more than an illness: An illness can be a part of you, something you have to deal with, but it’s not your identity, even if it might feel that way cause it’s a big part of your life. Remember that there is so much more about you!
  4. It’s okay to rest: You can’t always be ‘on’. It’s not healthy, you need rest, allow yourself that.
  5. Not everything you think is true: Your mind can play tricks on you, you might unconsciously remember things that others said about you or things you feel about yourself, but just cause your mind says it, doesn’t make it true.
